Like a lot of guys who are into Radio Control offroad trucks (of one variety or another) I got into the hobby through driving offroad vehicles in real life, I’ve had several, a Mk3 Isuzu Trooper Duty (the short wheelbase one with the limited slip diff and 3.0 Turbo Diesel) and a Suzuki Jimny that was so modified it became dangerous for on road use. Here’s a couple of pics!
The Trooper – Surprisingly capable for something with IFS!

So anyway I’m soon to be a dad so to the 1:1 offroaders had to go (for now…) and replacing them came the rockcrawler and scale truck!
